However, with this being true we need to uphold the value of in person communication and continue to stress building personal skills so students can be successful working with teams in a career setting. Also, I agree with your opinion on the fact that the online assignments in LIS 201 were very helpful, as well as how learning about the information society was very interesting. Nice final reflection!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16543085102188428292noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6421860674803430497.post-26812442247279604702014-12-08T16:45:12.666-06:002014-12-08T16:45:12.666-06:00I agree with you that it is important that the onl...I agree with you that it is important that the online component of the hybrid course isn't more important than the in-class component. Often when typing online instead of into a word document I often feel like I am addressing a different audience. I am actually pretty glad that we didn't take this approach. The lectures and online activities intertwined into weekly assignments made it easier for me to learn. Furthermore, I agree with your statement about a change in perspective after all the readings and assignments. I think the game you decided to choose has a very real and practical use in our society today and I think more games like this could make the world a better place. I agree the pollution in water hurts the wildlife, and more work should be done to limit pollution. I think technologythat helps us interact with society is better than the norm. For example, when the Wii system first came out, I thought it would be great for society because it allowed people to be active instead of locked in on a game console. Similarly, these ARIS games allow people to be active, however I think people may be too complacent already and not have as much success. Just like the Wii console compared to other majors systems.<br />Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01396619912247652024noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6421860674803430497.post-14845459030800153082014-11-11T11:01:04.896-06:002014-11-11T11:01:04.896-06:00I think it was interesting to hear your interpreta...I think it was interesting to hear your interpretation of the Chicago job market compared to mine! I would have assumed otherwise given the impact of the university on the state. More interesting though was how you can see the increase in technical skill level required in Portland and St. Paul.
