Book Choice

After searching Amazon for a while I was able to narrow my book choice to three choices. Networkologies: A Philosophy of Networks for a Hyperconnected Age - A Manifesto by Christopher Vitale is a book that discusses how creating networks, and networkologies, are very important in today's hyperconnected age. Alone Together: Why We Expect More from Technology and Less from Each Other by Sherry Turkle discusses how as technology and social networks have increased, our emotional lives have gone own. Networked: The New Social Operating System by Lee Rainie and Barry Wellman talks about how connected we are and how network individualization frees us from restrictions of groups. It also looks at how this effects society. After doing more research on ratings of books and looking at the authors and subject matter of everything I have decided to go with Networked: The New Social Operating System. It got very good ratings where I looked and I am very interested in how they are looking at how network individualization has expanded personal relationships.
