My name is Matt Lux and I am a sophomore from Seal Beach, California. The first question I am always asked is why did I come here all the way from my hometown? Well, I saw the campus in April when I was a senior in High School and absolutely loved the atmosphere and what the school had to offer. Wisconsin is a sweet school and I am so excited to be back. I love sports, especially baseball and golf. My team is the Dodgers and watch almost every game even from Madison! I played golf in High School and enjoy playing the sport a ton as well as baseball. I played third-base and pitcher. I also love going to the beach with my friends and relaxing on the sand on a nice summer day with a BBQ to end it. Going to the football and basketball games are always exciting to me and I am frequently checking the calendar to see when the Badgers next game is.
As a writer, I have some knowledge from my freshman year, but not too much. I hope that I will be able to hone my writing and speaking skills from this class. I am looking forward to a fantastic semester and meeting new people in class.
