Going Without Social Media and Networks.

I chose to do this assignment from Sunday night to Tuesday night. I strategically chose those days so I would be able to connect with friends during the weekend, but also so I wouldn't have to limit communication later in the school-week when I'm typically busier and more in contact with other people. All in all, I didn't think that going two days without social media or networking technology was too extremely difficult. I personally don't really enjoy texting, and I don't do it very often anyway, so the no-texting rule was not to difficult to follow. I have to admit, however, that I accidentally opened facebook, twitter, etc. on a few occasions and I think those occurrences were just down to habit. Facebook is the homepage of my web browser. Whenever I'm sitting around, doing nothing in particular, social media has always been my go to.  That habit ended up being a little tough to fight. To fill up the extra free time I had, I turned to Netflix to be my savior. Though these last couple of days have been annoying, they were not as bad as I thought they would be.

  1. I have to agree with you and I personally have to log on to my Facebook and youtube to always stay updated. I think this assignment had help me in a way where I will consciously know that I should not be on social medias when I have tons of work to do. It helped me to stay mre productive in my daily work.

  2. I found myself accidentally opening facebook and twitter as well. I turn to social networking sites out of habit so that was hard for me to break too. But I agree with you. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be
